In addition, we assign and pay monthly cash payments to 894 individuals who have made special contributions to the Motherland, and annually make one-time cash payments to about 825 thousand war veterans and victims of Nazi persecution on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine provides employers with funds on a daily basis to provide social insurance benefits in connection with temporary disability.

We form and maintain a register of insured persons of the State Register of Compulsory State Social Insurance, which contains information on employment relationships for the period starting from 2000, and in some cases - from 1998.


A few years ago, the Pension Fund of Ukraine mainly performed the functions of keeping special database records of persons subject to compulsory state social insurance, implementing pension issues. We assigned, transferred and paid pensions and filled the register of insured persons of the State Register of Compulsory State Social Insurance, the data of which was used by both the Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine and the Fund of Compulsory State Social Insurance in case of unemployment when assigning insurance payments, and by social protection bodies when providing other social payments and benefits.

But processes in society constantly made adjustments to this basic program, set new tasks for the Pension Fund of Ukraine, and encouraged it to change, improve, and develop.

To bring services closer to people, the Fund operates an extensive network of service centers of territorial departments, remote workplaces in territorial communities, etc.

To "untie" the receipt of services from a person's place of residence, the principles of extraterritorial service for visitors and processing of documents submitted for the assignment of benefits were introduced.
