3 useful Google Chrome extensions for digital marketers

Post by muskanislam44 »

As digital marketers, we use a number of tools every day to make our jobs easier. When it comes to online tools, we often access them directly from our browsers. We know that there is an option to bookmark websites for easier access, but can this procedure be simplified? Yes, with browser extensions . Here are 3 useful add-ons for all marketers who use Google Chrome.

extension1. Buffer/Hootsuite
As we wrote in our article Marketing Automation: Hootsuite or Buffer , these are online SaaS ( Software as a Service ) tools that automate various processes related to working on social networks, thereby helping you. To further speed up the scheduling of posts on social media profiles, browser extensions have also been created.

We're listing both Buffer and Hootsuite extensions together whatsapp number here because marketers generally use either one or the other , and their role is exactly the same. Here's how it looks when it comes to Hootsuite .

How it helps us: These extensions work in an identical way. When you want to schedule or post a link from a website, you just go to that website and click the Buffer or Hootsuite icon, which appears in the upper right corner after installing the extension. Then you just choose the network or platform you want to share it on, enter some text or a hashtag , and you're done. No copying links or manually entering photos.

2. Bitly
You've probably heard of Bitly – one of the most popular services that helps you shorten long links, as well as manage them . It's also a great tool for tracking traffic coming from different sources when it comes to influencer marketing. Bitly has become even easier to use with the Google Chrome extension.

How it helps us: a shortened link is just a click away. All you have to do is go to the page whose link you want to shorten, click on the extension icon, and the link is shortened. All you need to do is click on copy and there you have your bitly link in 2 steps . If you want to modify it , it is very simple. You can see how it looks in the photograph below.

3. SimilarWeb
SimilarWeb is a collection of services for digital marketers, and under that name there are several useful tools. We were interested in one for quick traffic analysis on websites whose Google Analytics we do not have access to. Since there is a Google Chrome extension , we can get the results we are interested in even more easily.

How it helps us: by clicking on the extension icon, you will need to wait 10 seconds for the results to appear. On the first report tab, you will be able to see an estimate of the site visit , and as you go further, you can find more information about visitors , advertisements on the site, links to and from the site, and many other interesting data .
