When your customers don’t fully understand their problem, your solution will be one of many to decide between or ignore entirely.

Avoid it like this : Before introducing your solution, you will need to educate your audience. Write down the 3 main causes that prevent your customers from solving their problem. Each cause will be a key point to open your sales communications with.

Let's take an example, applying the concept to a teeth whitening product:

Education : Your teeth are yellow because the acids in beverages like coffee and wine have discolored them. Solution : Our product uses whitening agents that eliminate acid buildup and return your teeth to their natural color.

Most of the time marketing communications focus only on the second part, the solution, while ignoring the first part, the education.
