The company’s BIM manager then spoke in more detail about the various stages of implementing digital products and transforming the company’s business processes.

Phase No. 1. Using domestic software at the design stage
To implement the design stage, SDS-Stroy implemented the Larix.Manager software product , which made korea phone number it possible to automate standard checks of CIM elements for duplication, intersection, position, etc., as well as to evaluate the conformity of models with regulatory documents and customer requirements and save the results in a database of digital check rules.

The first project where Larix.Manager was tested was the construction of a polyclinic under a government contract. The company's management assessed the results of the product implementation positively: compared to previous projects, the number of design errors was reduced to a minimum, the examination process was shortened, and an individual database of digital inspection rules was formed.

Phase No. 2. Using domestic software to organize the data storage system
The implementation of a common data environment became necessary due to the increasing volume of projects and the need to optimize engineering document flow. After evaluating software products available on the market, SDS-Stroy chose the Sarex solution, as it best met the requirements of the company's specialists.

The new system allowed for flexible documentation approval routes to be set up and increased reliability of engineering documentation at the construction site. Sarex functionality also helped to effectively maintain a log of comments on large objects, such as a livestock complex: the implementation of a common data environment became critical for the successful implementation of such projects.

Phase #3.
A single source of data in the form of a BIM model and a corporate directory of types of work and materials became the basis for automating the cost assessment process. Using the functionality of Larix.EST, SDS-Stroy specialists developed special calculation rules for generating automated statements of work volumes, which made it possible to increase the speed and accuracy of calculations.

The directory has a multi-level structure, which allows for detailed calculation of cost and volume of work depending on the stage of the project. The directory contains about 35 thousand items, of which 14 thousand are unique - this ensures high accuracy of calculations.

Testing of the automatic calculation functions of the VOR was carried out on a pilot project for the construction of a football arena in Novokuznetsk. SDS-Stroy specialists identified and eliminated bugs and inaccuracies in the automated formulas for calculating the VOR.

Separately, Denis Eremin noted that the scenarios for calculating the cost estimate and forming the bill of quantities differed for projects implemented under government contracts: they could use both a digital information model and local cost estimates (LSR) as a data source. To work with LSR, the COST-R solution was used, which helped translate commercial prices into government prices and vice versa, which is important for comparing costs when working with government customers.

Phase No. 4. Automation of the process of selection and control of the contractor
To organize tender procedures and control the fulfillment of contractual obligations, SDS-Stroy uses the Larix.CPM software package in conjunction with Larix.EST and Larix.CBD . Thus, the entire process of finding a contractor from the moment the statement of volumes of work appears until the completion of the tender takes place in uniform terms of the corporate directory of types of work and materials.

Participants in tender procedures see the statements of volumes of work compiled by SDS-Stroy on the site and enter their prices. Then, within the company, these proposals are compared with the reference prices from the reference book, after which a list of all proposals is compiled, which allows them to be compared within the rules set by the company and to form competitive lists.
