The game mechanics
Since this is a contest focused on Christmas shopping , the chosen duration was from 1 to 24 December in physical stores and from 1 to 19 December on the brand's e-shop, which is the period in which the public is most focused on Christmas gifts.
With every purchase of at least 50 euros, through a loyalty code number of philippines card, in participating stores and on the shop, each customer obtained two codes necessary to participate in the competition.
The game mechanics chosen by UPIM exploited the principles of gamification, using the Spin & Win product (wheel of fortune) which awards the win in Instant Win mode .
To participate, each customer in possession of the codes simply had to fill out the registration form, spin the wheel and immediately discover the possible winning of the prizes up for grabs. Among these we find electronic products, including iPhone13 128 GB, electric scooter, but also games for children and gift cards up to 200 euros. Prizes that are certainly relevant and very useful in the loyalty process of the customers already acquired.
